Driftwood is an interesting material to carve. You never know what you’re gonna get! Some times it whittles away to nothing other times it presents me with unusual shapes and sizes. Here two beads from the same piece of driftwood are separated by hand carved red cedar and Huon pine beads. Guwandhang (quondong) seeds are used as toggles on the ends of the hand-twined waxed linen cord. It’s organic, rustic and smooth and unique.
